The name comes from Acts 17, where a town was remembered not for what it believed, but for checking it daily. Berea was not created to interpret God’s word — that is the work of the Holy Spirit Himself, who shall “guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). Berea is a study aid, a starting point reflecting the history of the Bible, its development, and its content.
